The odd shape of these two drawer units is a copy of the original ones that came with the plane, only those were made of wood-grain plastic and these are real burlwood, finished with several coats of a hi-gloss lacquer. The brass pulls also lock each drawer to prevent them opening during a flight. This aircraft seats 6 persons; the two mid-ship seats are folded down for the photo.
